Hyoubu is an 85 year old man in the body of a fairly arrogant teenager. He often has a confident smirk or smile that helps to cover his other emotions. Hyōbu is the leader of P.A.N.D.R.A., an outlaw organization focused on creating a world were ESPers can live freely. He is arrogant, intelligent, determined, stubborn, competitive, confident, heartless to enemies of espers and caring, gentle and understanding to his family and generally whom he holds dear and a father figure to his organization. He has a tragic past; he joined the army in a young age to put his powers to good use to help humanity, but before the war ended he was betrayed and shot by his superior, whom he trusted most. As a result of witnessing how ESPers were abused and controlled by normals as well as his own attempted assassination by his superior (only because they feared his power and saw him as a weapon), he made a pact to never leave this world until he takes revenge from normals. Gradually however, his opinion towards normals becomes more flexible.

When he woke up, Andy felt unusually tired and sore. He couldn't figure out any reason why other than it just was.
He tried to think back on the night to what had happened but nothing came to mind--which was weird, normally he could recall things easily enough (which wasn't always a good thing, in some situations.) Deciding that perhaps he would find his answers when he wouldn't be thinking so hard, Andy set off on his daily routine.

Nothing seemed to be out of place, Andy reflected before he paused. Well, nothing but his memories of the night before. He remembered some things, like what he had done the day before but he didn't recall actually coming back to his place.
Throwing on a clean shirt, Andy passed by an open window in his room then he paused for a second.
When did he open that? Walking over to the window, Andy winced at the brightness. It annoyed him, but it didn't do much more than that.
Closing the window, Andy pulled back, away from the brightness and relaxed.
The light gave him a small headache from the brightness of it, but other than that it wasn't too bad so Andy didn't really put much thought into it.
"This is weird." He muttered quietly, a frown tugging at his lips as he went to the kitchen.
Opening the fridge, he glanced over at it's contents before feeling an urge to pull away. He didn't want anything from there but he felt hungry and his throat felt dry.
Fighting back annoyance, Andy grabbed a glass and filled it with water and took a sip, figuring that might help. Sadly, it didn't.
Emptying the glass, Andy set it in the sink with the other dishes (he made a mental note to clean those later) and decided to try going outside despite the feeling that he'd regret that later.

As soon as the half-esper opened the door, Hyoubu was right there, raising his fist to knock before placing his hand back into his pocket. “Hinomiya-kun~? What a surprise, you must have known I was coming~,” the major purred, an expression on his face akin to someone who had just done something shit-eating, but was well aware they were going to get away with it.

When was it any different though?

“Were you heading out, or did you genuinely know I was here and were opening the door for me?” With a grin, he commented on how some people with deep relationships to another had a sort of sixth sense when it came to the other and were able to tell when the other was coming. Of course, this was also common with dogs and their masters as well. Hyoubu’s head tilted to the side as he looked the male over, saying that he’d be much obliged to accompany him on a walk if that’s what he was planning on doing.

He’d certainly admit that he felt quite strong ties with the male standing in front of him and he was sure Andy felt the same way, though perhaps he was a bit less ready to admit that than Hyoubu was. Either way, it was because of that that Hyoubu was, or at the very least liked to believe he was, quite in tune to the other. Thus, he was able to pick up that something was going on with the other. His smile wavered in the slightest and a trace of genuine concern slipped into his expression. “Is everything alright, Hinomiya-kun?”
Ooc.

Cries a little after a billion years and sends reply.

Was everything alright? No, no it wasn't. Not with running into Hyoubu and starting off the encounter with teasing (but if he didn't, Andy would be more concerned than relieved.) "I was going out." He finally admitted, a little reluctantly despite the fact that he felt unsure if he should be relieved not to be alone while he sorted things out or wish for someone else to be there with him during this. After a moment's thought he reluctantly admitted that there was worse than Hyoubu.

He thought that maybe--just maybe he could brush this feeling away until he heard the esper's question and caught that slight change in his expression, which made Andy hesitate. Was he that obvious? "I think so." Maybe that wasn't his best response yet, but he couldn't bring himself to lie convincingly. "It's nothing serious." He added a little after, sounding a little more sure. It couldn't be that bad--whatever the hell it was.

...Right?

"But if you're set on coming along with me then fine." He decided that he would be fine with this. Fighting back a yawn, Andy stretched his arms a little. Damn, he wished he would wake up since the rest of him didn't feel like it normally did--he hardly felt awake at all. Hopefully the walk he'll be taking now will help wake him up and help jog his memory because he doubted he'd get rest with a certain esper around.
What did he get for a guy like Kyousuke for his birthday?

That was the trouble for Andy. He had absolutely no clue what to get Hyoubu. He passed through a few stores and nothing really caught his attention.

Maybe I'll get something that'd suit him?

He had a feeling this thought would bite him later on but none the less, after a few more hours of wandering around he came up with a surprise for the annoying white haired esper. He bought him a pair of heelies. They were safe enough and likely wouldn't make him regret anything but at least he managed to get him something this year even if he wasn't with the others. He didn't figure Hyoubu would make an appearance tonight since he'd be busy with his family--the P.A.N.D.R.A members that loved him so dearly.

Fighting with gift warp was something Andy quickly decided against and opted to put the gift in a gift bag, filling it with paper tissue before he returned to his place. As soon as he got back home, Andy set down the gift and wondered what he should do next since he wasted most of his day trying to do this and it was getting too late to do much else now.
On his list of 'things only he could do' Andy did not think that 'getting put in an esper prison again' wasn't really one of the things he really thought of. And yet, here he was, in an esper prison once again wearing an identical orange jumpsuit just like he had the first time he came to an esper prison and once again eating in the prison's cafeteria. The only real difference was that this time he was in prison for a real reason (which was trying to stop a particularly mischievous esper child--but then his plan, or lack of, had managed to get him in prison while the child escaped and left him behind) instead of it being some mission.

I really hate espers sometimes. Andy grumbled quietly to himself as he continued eating his bland meal, not really thinking much on the gossip that was going around the prison about a newcomer that was supposedly arriving. In the half a month or so since he had been at this prison, he had come to learn that these kinds of rumours were more or less the norm over here so Andy didn't pay much attention to it or the others in the room. It was easier that way and no one got in trouble. It seemed like a good enough plan, didn't it? Only, when did his plans ever work?
A voice belonging to none other than the leader of the notorious crime syndicate P.A.N.D.R.A rang clearly through the dining hall. "Looks like you just can't keep yourself out of trouble? Hm, Hinomiya-kun?"

Hyoubu had been arrested again, or, well, had allowed himself to be arrested. It was one of his favorite past times if he was to be honest. To fool around with the guards, taunt them, allow them to think they could keep him 'subdued' by their stupid little ECM devices (when really, he had yet to find one that worked on him, he just played by their rules and thus went along with hit), only to then humiliate them thoroughly by liberating all espers imprisoned. Sometimes the wardens were killed, other times he would find some equally embarrassing thing for them to do for his own entertainment

Those, however, while he would certainly partake in them, were not his priorities. His priorities lay elsewhere in the form of a rescue mission. He had his ways of knowing things, and a little birdie a week or two back had told him that a certain member of P.A.N.D.R.A (ex-member, now honorary) was being held there and so, he had decided he could go pay him a little visit.

The quality of the eating area on Deadlock, where they first had met, was much nicer, but this one however was mediocre at best. The food looked worse too. Oh well, he could always go to town later and be back before anyone noticed. "My, my, this feels oddly nostalgic doesn't it~?" Hyoubu purred, taking a seat and sitting down across from the honorary P.A.N.D.R.A member, resting his chin on his hands and looking at him much like he had that one day when he had slipped the poison into Andy's food and broke them out of prison. It was a shit eating grin much like someone would wear who had slipped neon pink hair dye into your shampoo or had secretly tied your shoelaces together without being noticed and was waiting for you to fall flat onto your face. Or the face of someone who had slipped some kind of poison into your breakfast.
Andy remained silent at first after hearing a very familiar voice in his mind, ringing all too clearly in his mind for it to be something from his imagination. At the mention of him being unable to keep out of trouble, Andy's movements slowed for a moment.

Had anyone else say that to Andy during this situation he would have commented on how they were now stuck in a similar situation as him. The only problem was that since it was Hyoubu and not just anyone else, Andy figured that he had some elaborate plan of escape the moment he stepped into this prison so any comment he could make didn't really matter in the end. Still, it felt odd that Hyoubu would choose to come to somewhere like this prison unless he had something specific to do then again it wouldn't surprise him if Hyoubu had heard about him getting stuck in prison again.

Andy's brows furrowed for a moment at that thought before he noticed the P.A.N.D.R.A leader's grin that accompanied his comment on how nostalgic this felt made Andy hesitate for a moment. Their first encounter got him into trouble, which was followed up with him getting poisoned by the same male that was sitting in front of him. Nostalgic would be one of the last words he'd use for this situation. "This is the second time we met like this but I wouldn't use 'nostalgic' to discribe last time."

And suddenly his not-so-appetizing meal had somehow become even less appetizing to him as he recalled the nearly tasteless poison and the agonizing pain that came with it. "You're not going to poison me again for the same of nostalgia, are you?" Andy asked, sliding the tray aside once he decided he had enough due to the memory coming back to him all at once. Still, though, if he hadn't known any better he would have thought that Hyoubu may have came here for him but he dismissed that thought quickly. If he asked that then too many other questions would come to mind and chances were he'd only get them brushed off or answered vaguely--if Andy was lucky.
